Lost Laysen, by Margaret Mitchell

Read and reviewed in December, 2009

A recently discovered early work by Margaret Mitchell (of Gone With the Wind). She was fifteen years old when she penned this novella.

The first part weaves a biography of letters and photographs from two years of Margaret Mitchell's life as a girl and young woman during the latter years of World War I.

The novella wasn't as interesting to me as the biography. It was an early work, interesting only because the writer went on to become famous.
