Read, reviewed, and released in April, 2004
Where Are the Children was creepy and disturbing, like any good whodunit should be. In this case, we know from the beginning "whodunit," but we don't know his identity. The creepiest part was getting 'inside the mind' of a pedophile/child murderer.
This summary could be applied to any of the Mary Higgins Clark mystery/thrillers I've read, and I've read several of them. Fascinating reading, but the plots get a little familiar after awhile, as well as some details. (Ms. Clark can't ignore a Burberry coat!)
I am not reviewing all the Mary Higgins Clark books I have read here.
