Read, reviewed, and released in September, 2008
This book is very compelling, but the subject matter is very somber, and graphic descriptions are given for very violent scenes. It is not for the faint of heart or squeamish. Personally, I had to stop reading from time to time, as it was just too depressing, but I plugged on until the end. John Grisham is a very talented writer, and I felt as though I really knew his characters.
